by Kelly Harbaugh
When my daughter was 2 years old, there was a day that she disappeared on me. I started looking around and calling her name, but there was no response.
I really started to get panicked, calling louder and asking her brother to help. At this point I was checking every space possible.
Finally, I opened the pantry door. She was sitting at the bottom, quietly eating a box of Thin Mint Girl scout cookies. The box was in her lap and the cookies were smashed all over her outfit and through her curly hair.
