Me and my kids last summer
Now I'm a mum of four young children which is so chaotic, but it was when my oldest two boys were toddlers that I really felt like pulling my hair out!
They are only nineteen months apart, the best of friends, the fiercest of enemies; but more than anything, they are trouble buddies, putting their heads together to create mischief and mayhem!
I was pregnant with my third child (who turned out to be a girl, how I smiled at that news!) and we were living for a while in rented accommodation. One day I was taking a (short) rest on the sofa. The boys, then aged 2 and 3 were playing in the next room - or so I thought.
You know when they've been quiet for too long. I heaved myself off the sofa and followed their giggles. I opened the door to the kitchen and there they were throwing ready oats into the air, a fine dust had settled on the floor, the table, everything and they had turned themselves into little white giggling ghosts. It took me ages to clean up.
That's not the end of the story. A few weeks later, this time I was in the kitchen and the boys were in the living room. When I opened the door, I couldn't believe my eyes. It had snowed again! This time they had managed to open a bean bag and pour all the polystyrene balls across the carpet. I tried to hoover the remaining balls from down the edge of the carpet, but when we left that house, months later they were still there.

This is a place where women work together to serve God.
Tabitha's Team is a Christian women's website, based on Acts 9:36: In Joppa, there was a disciple named Tabitha...who was always doing good and helping the poor.

I hope to inspire Christian women to seek first to be disciples, encourage each other to break free from perfectionism, and live as servants of Jesus.
