A freelance writer, Sarah lives in Abilene, Texas with her husband, Troy, their children, Ashley and Riley, and a menagerie of pets including Stickers the hedgehog and Duchess the lab. Sarah stays busy driving her kids to various sporting and church activities.
Sarah is a certified elementary school teacher. She has taught 2nd grade and special education classes, as well as worked for the non-profit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters. Sarah writes a regular column for Abilene Families Magazine and is a frequent contributor to heartlight.org
Having walked the lonely, difficult road of marriage reconciliation, Sarah is now a passionate advocate for strengthening marriages before they are in crisis. Please open up and ask any questions you may have about marriage.

How do you and your friends practice teamwork?
“I also am to the early teen stage in raising children and would be happy to field questions about parenting. I don’t always do it right, but I sure have learned from a long list of mistakes. With a background in education and my children attending public school, I would be happy to answer questions about teacher troubles or learning difficulties.”
Sarah is also eager for every person to be a good steward of the body God gave him or her. If you want ideas about how to become healthier or get a fitness routine started, ask Sarah. She would love to help.
